00:00Y'all know we love Jell-O in the South. This pie uses two flavors.
00:05There are probably hundreds of recipes out there for Jell-O pie.
00:08I'm sure some are creamy and some aren't and that for every flavor of Jell-O that exists at least a few dozen pie recipes
00:14using that flavor are out there. This isn't backed by any sort of research,
00:18but my guess is that some of the most widely used flavors of Jell-O are strawberry, lemon, and lime.
00:23Probably because those flavors go with a lot of things. For this Jell-O pie,
00:27we use strawberry Jell-O as the base mixed with whipped topping to create a sweet strawberry flavored creamy filling.
00:33But the Jell-O fun doesn't stop there.
00:35We also use a packet of lemon Jell-O mixed with butter and flour to make a lemon crumble that tastes
00:41just like those lemon wedding cookies you probably ate in a church fellowship hall.
00:46I loved this pie because it tasted like a step back in time.
00:50And if you want to trip down memory lane, you should definitely make one for yourself.
