00:00The Dominican Republic is not the only country that has helped the United States to move forward in terms of food security.

00:05I don't only believe it, I'm convinced that the country that is not with us today

00:10has helped the Dominican Republic to continue on the right path in terms of food security.

00:18There are many examples.

00:22We have come here several times to see Chinese personnel working together with the Dominican technicians

00:32and measuring the efficiency, the productivity that the Chinese have,

00:38the genetics and the way of planting and harvesting,

00:44and it is substantially superior.

00:48We, as the ambassador said, have continued to look for a way

00:57for the Chinese market to open up for the Dominican Republic and vice versa.

01:02Security, health, everything that has to do with the quarantine procedure,

01:12we have been strengthening all of this,

01:17because we understand that every day that passes,

01:21the Dominican products in China will be more consumed,

01:26and so will the Chinese products in the Dominican Republic.
