00:00Christmas has arrived at Speak Hall, offering a magical family day out and the chance to explore one of Liverpool's most iconic historical houses.
00:09Home to a priest hole, Gothic Revival furniture and William Morris wallpaper, Speak Hall has a rich history and was taken over by the National Trust in 1986.
00:20Since then, they have continued to care for its important collections, objects, gardens and grounds, preserving it for future generations.
00:29Though the house and grounds are incredible all year round, Speak Hall is extra special at Christmastime, with the house decorated with magical decorations including hidden nods to the 12 days of Christmas in each room.
00:42Offering the chance to experience traditional Victorian and Tudor Christmases, the house is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between November 29th and December 22nd
00:53and you can expect to see fresh festive garlands, candlelit hallways, live music, twinkling trees and the chance to see what a Christmas Day feast would have looked like.
01:03Outside, you'll find a magnificent Christmas tree and dozens of smaller trees beautifully decorated by local school children.
