00:00When you imagine a hypercar, you probably picture a gas guzzling dragster, but what
00:08about a garbage guzzling one?
00:10This is the GB110, what developer Bertone says is the first hypercar that will run on
00:15waste.
00:16The car's engine features 1100 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 in just 2.7 seconds,
00:21with the hypercar topping out at a whopping 236 miles per hour.
00:26But the company says the real draw is that you can toss garbage into its fuel tank to
00:29power the futuristic-looking vehicle, with Bertone's CEO saying about it, quote,
00:34We recognize that plastic waste is a major environmental problem.
00:37We have committed to developing technologies that convert polycarbonate materials into
00:41renewable and sustainable fuels, something they are calling their cutting-edge advanced
00:46plastic-to-fuel technology, a new type of fuel, which is now being used in everything
00:50from transportation to aviation fuel, and of course their newest hypercar.
00:54The company is only releasing 33 of the vehicles, all to commemorate Bertone's 110th anniversary,
00:59hence the GB110 nomenclature.
