00:00Sabah Finance Minister Masidi Manjun has given a statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption
00:06Commission over a viral video implicating him and other Sabah assemblymen in an alleged
00:12mining scandal.
00:14The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah Secretary-General said he went to MSCC's office in Kota Kinabalu
00:20last night.
00:22Masidi said he was not summoned by the anti-craft agency but wanted to assist in their investigation
00:28into the matter.
00:30He also denied an allegation that a large sum of money was offered as a bribe to support
00:35an application for a mineral explorations license in Sabah.
00:40The allegation is the latest in a series of videos published by Malaysia Kini featuring
00:45a purported whistleblower speaking with several assemblymen.
00:49Masidi said he would fully cooperate with the authorities and support their efforts
00:54to combat corruption in Sabah.
