00:00People are like, wait, is this guy gonna die?
00:02If you thought vampire stories were just for movies, think again.
00:05Because a real-life tech billionaire is out here trying to literally ingest blood to stay young.
00:10Brian Johnson, a super-rich tech entrepreneur,
00:12has made headlines for his unconventional anti-aging routine.
00:16We're talking a two-million-a-year plan involving strict diets,
00:20exercise, and advanced medical procedures.
00:22All aimed at keeping his body as youthful as possible.
00:25But the wildest part of his plan? Swapping blood with his 17-year-old son.
00:29Yeah, you heard that right.
00:30Brian Johnson has been doing young blood transfusions,
00:33using his teenage son's blood as part of his anti-aging strategy.
00:36As far as I know, it's the first time this has ever been done.
00:39So what exactly is a young blood transfusion?
00:42It's a procedure where the blood plasma of a young, healthy person
00:45is injected into an older person's bloodstream.
00:47In Brian's case, he's been using the blood of his teenage son,
00:50Talmadge, to see if it'll make his body both function and appear more like a younger person's.
00:55I'm actually excited.
00:56It's like the first thing where I'm actually having something
00:59done to my body significantly that's supposed to help it.
01:02But despite the outrageous lengths Brian is going to to age backwards,
01:06some people online are mocking him for spending all that money
01:09just to look exactly like you'd expect a 47-year-old to look.
01:12Just a little shinier.
01:13In fact, some people say he looked younger before starting his extreme anti-aging regimen.
01:18And if that wasn't enough, Brian's 70-year-old dad is also in on it.
01:21Brian, Talmadge, and Grandpa are participating in what they call a
01:24tri-generational blood swap, where they share each other's plasma
01:28in hopes of reversing the effects of aging.
01:30Jay Hansen claims one transfusion shaved his 70-year-old dad's aging process by 25 years.
01:36According to Brian, this is all part of his mission to defy aging.
01:39He's hoping that young blood might boost his body's regenerative abilities,
01:43slow down cellular aging, and basically keep him feeling like he's in his 20s.
01:47The concept of young blood has some roots in scientific research.
01:50Animal studies have suggested that transferring young blood into older mice
01:54can improve cognitive function and even muscle strength.
01:57However, when it comes to humans, the evidence is way less clear,
02:00and the FDA even warned against plasma infusions a few years back,
02:05saying that there's no proven benefit and it could come with risks.
02:08If you start to feel like your eyes start to itch, that's the first sign of a reaction.
02:12But Brian Johnson, he's not letting that stop him.
02:15He's on a mission to be the world's most optimized human,
02:18documenting his entire anti-aging journey online,
02:21and gaining a ton of attention in the process.
02:23Johnson previously made headlines for sharing his strict daily regimen,
02:27aversed staggering 111 supplements, and 2,250-calorie vegan diet.
02:32And what about Talmadge, his teenage son?
02:34Will my son's blood make me younger?
02:35People can't help but wonder how you convince your own kid
02:37to get in on a blood-swapping experiment.
02:39And is this even ethical?
02:41Either way, seems like he's on board.
02:43I was ecstatic to have that opportunity to be a part of that.
02:47So is Brian Johnson onto something with his extreme anti-aging plan?
02:50Or is this just the latest example of tech billionaires doing the most to avoid the inevitable?
