00:00The second impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte has been filed.

00:05The grounds for complaint is the betrayal of public trust over the alleged misuse of confidential funds in her offices.

00:21Up to 75 complainants from various sectors including youth leaders, public school teachers,

00:27government workers, religious leaders, human rights victims, and former members of Congress

00:32came together in the House of Representatives today to file another impeachment complaint against

00:39the grounds for their complaint, betrayal of public trust.

00:42Among the main issues they cited for this complaint include the alleged abuse, misuse, and wastage

00:48of P612.5 million pesos in confidential funds of her offices,

00:53alleged systematic cover-up in their COA documents,

00:56and alleged deliberate obstruction of congressional investigation and oversight.

01:01The complaint was endorsed by House Deputy Minority Leader Franz Castro,

01:05Gabriela Partylist Representative Arlene Brosas,

01:08and Kabataan Partylist Representative Raul Manuel.

01:43For its part, the House leadership assured to process the complaint in accordance with the Constitution

01:48and its rules of procedure in impeachment proceedings.

01:52The House is committed to performing its constitutional duty

01:57with fairness, impartiality, and respect for the rule of law.

02:03We assure the public that this process will be conducted with integrity,

02:10guided by the principles of due process,

02:14and adherence to the Constitution.
