00:18The complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte reached 75 individuals.
00:26They came from different sectors, including youth leaders, public school teachers, religious leaders, and former members of Congress.
00:36The basis of their complaint is betrayal of public trust.
00:40Included in the issue is the wrongful spending of OVPs on confidential funds,
00:45the submission of unauthorized documents to the COA,
00:49and the high cost of investigation by the Congress.
00:53The complaint was formally endorsed by House Deputy Minority Leader Franz Castro,
00:58Gabriela Partylist Representative Arlene Brosas,
01:01and Kabataan Partylist Representative Raul Manuel.
01:05We strongly endorse the impeachment complaint of our people,
01:13composed of 75 persons representative of their organizations.
01:18Because we saw in the hearings, we saw in the Quadcom,
01:27here in the Committee on Good Government,
01:31the obvious spending of money.
01:36House Secretary General Reginald Velasco also insisted that the second impeachment against the second president will go through a fair process.
01:45This is also what the camera promised in the first complaint against VP Duterte.
01:50The House is committed to performing its constitutional duty with fairness, impartiality, and respect for the rule of law.
