00:00Here's our tried and tested way to roast a turkey.
00:05Let it rest when it comes out of the oven, half an hour to an hour is completely fine.
00:09Then take the legs off and you'll see they'll come away quite easily.
00:13Give them a little tug and you'll find the joint.
00:16Then take the breast away as well, snip off the wings and you'll see there's a very easy
00:28joint where you can cut straight through the leg.
00:31This is our foolproof method, you don't waste as much meat and everybody gets served a lot
00:36faster than if you were carving at the table and far less mess.
00:40Of course the carcass is great for soup, then slice the breast meat, cut the drumsticks
00:49in half and take as much meat off as you can.
00:53Then the legs will be great popped in your carcass pot with the soup.
