00:00Most of the rainfall on Saturday
00:01will stay across East Texas,
00:03but as we had throughout the day on Sunday,
00:05it's going to expand here
00:07across the Mississippi River.
00:08There will be a few thunderstorms
00:09mixed in with this as well.
00:11Satellite radar here over the past three hours.
00:13You can see some isolated showers here
00:15already developing across central Texas,
00:16and there's also a lot of cloud
00:18coverage down here as well.
00:20Some heavy rainfall now developing
00:21across far southern parts of Texas.
00:23Lows here as we head into tonight.
00:25It'll be pretty cold for Arkansas and Oklahoma.
00:27Overnight lows hovering right around
00:29freezing. However, the cloud coverage
00:31here for tonight across Texas will
00:33keep temperatures above freezing
00:34into the 40s here for tonight.
00:36So we'll be raining here pretty much
00:38all evening, all night,
00:39and throughout the day on Saturday.
00:41Here's the overall setup
00:42for the forecast on Saturday.
00:44Most of the rainfall will stay across
00:45central and eastern parts of Texas.
00:47It does look like most of the rainfall
00:49will stay to the south of the Red River,
00:51so most of the organized
00:52and most of the accumulating rainfall
00:54will stay to the south of the Red River.
00:56But then after that,
00:58the rainfall is definitely going to expand
00:59here as we have throughout the day on Sunday.
01:01Here's future track radar
01:02as we head into this evening.
01:0310 o'clock tonight on your Friday.
01:05We will see some heavy rainfall
01:06to the south and to the southeast
01:08of Dallas, pushing into East Texas.
01:10That rainfall will lift its way
01:11into northern parts of Louisiana
01:13during the overnight hours,
01:14and I'm stopping the clock at midday Saturday.
01:17This is tomorrow afternoon,
01:18midday local time.
01:19You can see heavy rainfall
01:20ongoing here across East Texas,
01:23but I also want to point out
01:24that there will be some pretty good
01:25showers and storms here
01:26across the Dallas metroplex
01:28in northern parts of Texas
01:29there right along the Red River.
01:31So Dallas will see the heaviest
01:32rainfall and storm chances
01:34right around midday on Saturday.
01:36And then after that,
01:37that first big wave of rain
01:38will start to work its way
01:39off to the east here
01:40as we head throughout Saturday
01:41afternoon into Saturday evening.
01:43But late Saturday, early Sunday,
01:44we will see another redevelopment
01:46of showers and storms
01:47there across West Texas,
01:48and that is going to bring more rainfall
01:50as we head throughout the day on Sunday.
01:53But then after that here,
01:54highs for your Saturday,
01:54we'll see some rain cooled
01:5540s and 50s here
01:57across the Lone Star State.
01:59So definitely not as mild
02:00as what we have been seeing
02:01because of that rainfall
02:03and heading into Saturday night.
02:04Temperatures will be very mild
02:05for this time of year.
02:06It'll be a little bit
02:07cooler on the backside
02:08where it starts to clear out
02:09for Lubbock and Odessa Midland as well.
02:11And also El Paso only getting up
02:13to 39 degrees there
02:14on Saturday night, Sunday morning.
