Benilde’s Allen Liwag named NCAA's MVP

Allen Liwag of the College of Saint Benilde is the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the centennial year of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. The big forward was awarded in ceremonies at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Dec. 6, 2024, ahead of Game 2 of the Finals between Benilde and Mapua University. The 6-foot-6 Blazer recorded 56.1 percent field goal efficiency (14.89 points per game), tallied 11.11 percent rebounds, 2.21 steals, and 1.21 blocks per game.
