00:00Dan, looking at Leeds United and obviously across 2024 as we approach the festive period,
00:08it's good to look back and see the top moments that stand out. Now, obviously, Leeds almost
00:13had an incredible end to last season with the play-off semi-final win to get them to
00:18that spot at Wembley. An amazing scenery there, but to lose was obviously fairly heartbreaking
00:23for them as a club and a fan base as well. They had to sort of reset. In all fairness,
00:28Daniel Farker's group have done that so well in terms of resetting and going again and
00:32getting some brilliant results so far this season. Looking back over 2024 as a calendar
00:37year, what sort of stands out to you as the highlights for Leeds? Obviously, almost had
00:44a fantastic FA Cup run as well. Well, I mean, firstly, just looking back to January and
00:50February, sort of the early part of the season, they just reeled off wins, to be honest, and
00:55they were looking as if they were really automatic promotion contenders, and to be
00:58fair, they probably were for the large parts. You get into February, and you know, obviously,
01:03you beat Leicester 3-1 at home. They actually did the double over both Leicester and Ipswich
01:08both last season, both the teams who went up Leeds, so it shows that on their day, they
01:12were probably the best side in the league, but just didn't have the consistency. It was
01:15the end of the season, they just sort of lacked it a bit, as I say. And then they had a narrow
01:21loss against Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round at Stamford Bridge, a 3-2 loss, but
01:27that was alongside, you know, results like beating Swansea 4-0 away from home, beating
01:30Plymouth 2-0, beating Rotherham 3-0, Leicester, as I say, 3-1. And then, obviously, into the
01:37spring time, you still have wins, and then it starts to go a bit haywire come April.
01:42They got beaten 4-0 by QPR away from home, but then they went into Middlesbrough, and
01:46they beat them 4-3. That was quite the game, to be honest, but then they lost at home to
01:50Blackburn, got beaten by Coventry. It started to just go off the rails a little bit, and
01:54then they had a great result, obviously, in the play-off semi-final against Norwich. They
01:59beat them 4-0, and that saw them head off to Wembley, but then, of course, we all know
02:04what happened at Wembley against Southampton. They had a marvellous strong goal, condemning
02:07them to another season in the Championship. This season has been a bit up and down at
02:11times. They start the season with a pretty unexpected 3-3 draw against Portsmouth, but
02:19then they have hit the stride a little bit. I think most impressively, they beat Sheffield
02:22United 2-0 at home, and were just really good in that game against a promotion rival as
02:29well, beating Swansea 4-3, beating Luton 3-0. There's so many good results sandwiched among
02:36some unexpected ones as well for Leeds, and I think that's the issue for them, especially
02:40away from home. They've got to iron out some of that inconsistency away from home, which
02:44for the most part at home, they're doing the business. They've got some big games to
02:49come as well, but 2024 has been a good year, but because of what happened in May, not a
02:55great year.
