00:00 And just looking at Joel Perrault specifically, we've sort of touched on the fact that he might be able to be the man who scores 20 plus goals in this championship season.
00:10 Why has he been playing as a bit deeper as a number 10? Is it because they lack that role? And what should Daniel Farker do with his attack?
00:18 Well, I think the obvious answer is staring him in the face, which is playing as a number nine.
00:21 You know, I mean, we harped on about it for ages, basically about Leeds not having a prolific goal scorer,
00:25 someone who's going to put the thing in the back of the net, you know, plenty of times and they went out and got Joel Perrault and everybody was delighted with that.
00:32 And, you know, he obviously scored 19 minutes into his debut and everything was looking hunky dory.
00:36 And it still is. I still think it'd be a fantastic signing.
00:39 But I think, you know, really needs to be playing as a number nine.
00:42 That said, what I would add is that he did play as a number 10 kind of idea in the game at Ipswich.
00:46 And also Daniel Farker, when he was asked about it post-match after the Chef Wednesday draw,
00:50 he sort of did quite correctly say that that was his role at Swansea was actually, you know, more or less similar to that as well, like arriving from deep.
00:56 So there is reasons for it.
00:58 I mean, Daniel would have looked at it and thought, well, we won 4-3 at Ipswich, so sort of why would you change it as it is and stuff?
01:03 And you're quite right. I think a lot of it also is down to the fact that they haven't got a natural number 10.
01:08 And Daniel probably looks at it and thinks that of the options he's got at the moment, you know, Joel Perrault is maybe one of the ones who is probably best suited to that.
01:16 You know, he said himself for the Wednesday game that he thought they might need like a bit more pace up front in terms of someone like Routier.
01:22 So it's a bit of a puzzle at the moment in terms of how they're going to sort this all out, because obviously they want to try and get Routier into the side.
01:28 He's record signing. He's still a young lad and he'll continue to get better.
01:31 I don't think anyone's doubting his talent, but obviously it's a work in progress with him.
01:36 So it's about how they go about and get everybody into the team and sort of the right roles, really.
01:41 I think Krystensio Somerville would probably be quite good as a number 10.
01:44 I know he's like seen as a winger, but, you know, he does sort of like gets his head down and can pick out good balls as well.
01:49 So that's an option. Archie Gray might be able to play there.
01:51 We saw that in the League Cup game and he's very, very young.
01:54 You don't want to pin all your hopes on him at that age, but here's someone who could play as a 10.
01:57 But yeah, it would just be interesting to see how they go about it.
01:59 But I think the general consensus, certainly most amongst fans, is that, you know, goals are going to win games and Perrault is the one most likely to get them.
02:05 And it's difficult putting someone else in someone else's shoes.
02:08 But I mean, if he was through on goal, you know, once or twice, would he have scored those?
02:12 And you think probably so. It'll be fascinating to see what Daniel does.
02:15 You might well stick to it for a little bit, but I certainly think long term the answer is to get Perrault in the number nine role.
02:19 It seems the obvious thing to do.
