People on the street: The best place to live in Manchester

For today’s property video, we went out into Manchester to ask people where they would most want to live in the city and why.

00:03asking people about property and the reason for that is Manchester is such a

00:06diverse city it's filled with all different types of houses properties

00:09flats apartments and so many more we want to know where people want to live

00:14and why

00:18New Islington is probably like New Islington or maybe like Northern Cork

00:22like this kind of area it's quite like five to five.

00:27I don't know whether I'd like want to live in town

00:30I think like Anchor or maybe even like Salford, Geesway

00:35stuff like that like media city yeah that's true

00:38yeah I'd be Fallowfield just because we're

00:42like as a student I'd want to live in Fallowfield if I was

00:46working maybe like Salford in like an apartment or something

00:50maybe. I find living too close to town is too much like

00:55it's too convenient if that makes sense like

00:58and I also like the fact that like you can

01:01disassociate work from being in town then by the time you get home

01:05it's like oh that's that. I'd say like New Islington

01:09I think I reckon like yeah you've got to check out New

01:13Islington if I had the money if I had sufficient funds I'd probably live in New Islington

01:16I would say I look at like actually how the home is more than like

01:22location also like what I like it to be that walking distance

01:26so if it's like a good sort of walking vacation

01:30to town or something like that then I look for that

01:33whereas I'm definitely more like interiors

01:36like how do I feel when I get home kind of

01:40like I don't mind traveling as long as like I can live by myself

01:43it's a nice like place to live if that makes sense

01:47I think Fallowfield if you're a student I think like Fallowfield's like

01:51you can't really beat Fallowfield I think

01:53yeah I feel like because everyone's like everyone's

01:56everyone's doing the same thing so it's kind of like in a sense of like

01:59community and stuff
