00:00The Metropolitan Water Works and Sewerage System Regulatory Office, or MWSSRO, has approved a 5 peso and 95 centavo tariff adjustment for Manila Water and Maynila at the first quarter of 2025.
00:14This is equivalent to an increase of 24 to 111 pesos to the water bill of customers, consuming 10 to 30 cubic meters per month.
00:22The MWSS explains the capital expenditure of water concessionaires ballooned as they invested on sewerage coverage or the cleaning of polluted water from houses as well as industrial plants before it is funneled to rivers.
