00:00So, on the 12th of last month, at 3am, we carried out a raid in this area, which involved as many as 32 members of the police force and officers from the Malaysian police.
00:26So, as a result of the initial investigation, at that time, we found that Mr. Babit, who we can see behind us, was a jetty that was used by the patrol boats to raid.
00:39And at that time, we found that there was an activity that was suspected of smuggling diesel oil.
00:47And the diesel oil was pumped into storage tanks in the land area.
00:54So, in the next investigation, we found that the diesel oil was indeed found in several compartments in the vessel.
01:03And during the initial investigation, the floor plan shown in the vessel showed that they also used the entire compartments in the vessel or the boat to be filled with diesel oil.
01:18So, during the raid, the diesel oil was being pumped into the tanks in the land area, which was about 200 metres away from the boat.
01:32So, our initial investigation showed that the vessel was registered at the location and we have arrested 5 men, 4 of whom are not citizens of the country and another is a citizen of Malaysia.
01:52And they are between 30 and 50 years old.
01:56So, during the arrest, all 5 of them were in the boat.
02:03So, InsyaAllah, today, we will request the government to issue a warrant for those who are involved.
02:12And we will also request the government to issue a warrant for a man who suddenly appeared yesterday and claimed to be the owner of the vessel.
02:23And we will also issue a warrant to obtain further evidence to complete our investigation.
02:30So, what we seized was a boat, diesel oil and several equipment, including storage tanks.
02:39And we expect that the quantity of diesel oil that was seized was more than 50,000 litres.
02:45So, this is a big theft and the total value of the theft is estimated to be almost one million ringgit.
02:52So, we will open an investigation under Article 1961.
02:58So, we will conduct a further investigation.
03:01So, our further investigation will focus on where they got the source of the goods and where the goods will be transported.
03:11We will also investigate this case under the Amla Act.
03:17And I want to touch a little bit on this vessel.
03:21Actually, there is a part of our work in Gempur.
03:26And in Gempur, we have a special operation that we call Op Tiris 3.0.
03:33And this case is not included.
03:35We have made 732 cases related to diesel only throughout the country involving the value of the theft.
03:45The total amount is more than 73 million ringgit.
03:48And we hope that the public will continue to provide information to the KPDN
03:54to ensure that things related to the law and also a form of sabotage to the country's economy can be broken, God willing.
