00:00This payday Friday, traffic in Metro Manila became heavy due to Christmas shopping and parties.

00:17Tom, the roads are getting narrow again.

00:20But that's because of the increase of vehicles in the middle of Rush Hour.

00:25In EDSA, earlier in Rush Hour, vehicles in Quezon Avenue were almost full stop.

00:31The traffic in front of the malls was heavy.

00:34In EDSA Muñoz, we saw several commuters driving a jeepney first.

00:39Some commuters were rejected by a taxi, so EDSA just used a bus carousel.

00:45According to the MMDA, there were 470,000 vehicles crossing EDSA

00:51from November to December, compared to 350,000 to 370,000 in October.

00:59In Commonwealth Avenue towards Litex, there were bumper-to-bumper vehicles until 9 p.m.

01:06In order to reduce the traffic, operations against illegal parking continued.

01:11In EDSA Pakananang Congressional Avenue, the MMDA Strike Force caught two jeepneys waiting for passengers.

01:19Passengers were also stopped in the construction of motorcycles in Congressional Avenue.

01:24A SUV was parked on the sidewalk and the driver left it.

01:30In total, there were 16 four-wheel vehicles, 3 motorcycles, and 78 vehicles were stopped by the MMDA.
