00:00A Taiwanese fugitive, a supplier of weapons in Pogo, was arrested in Makati.

00:05The suspect was not only wanted in the Philippines, but also in Taiwan due to other crimes.

00:15In March of last year, police raided a condo unit in Makati City

00:20which resulted in the confiscation of more than 80 guns and hundreds of bullets.

00:26Aside from handguns, there were also assault rifles.

00:29But the raiding team did not reach the target of the operation.

00:33The suspect, a Taiwanese fugitive, is Zhang Zhang Yadong.

00:37More than a year ago, he was arrested yesterday

00:41in the operation of the PNP, AFP, and Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, or PAOC.

00:47On December 12, someone gave us information that he was in a mall in Makati.

00:53He was with his friends. He was in a restaurant with them.

00:57So when we went there, it was time for them to leave.

01:01It's a good thing that we caught him. We gave him his warrant.

01:05The suspect was also wanted in Taiwan due to his involvement in illegal drugs and other organized crime.

01:11When he escaped to the Philippines,

01:13the suspect set up his own organized crime group for his scamming and gunrunning activities.

01:19He is the supplier of guns and firearms of POGO.

01:25And as you know, what we investigated last year,

01:31most of the POGO murderers were killed by guns.

01:38The suspect was jailed in Makati City Police Station, but the media did not allow him to be seen.

01:44According to the monitoring of the POGO,

01:46150 POGOs still operate in condominiums, resorts, and gated communities.
