'Tis the season for holiday travel, and we know how stressful it can be, especially if you suffer from nerve discomfort. Driving to your holiday destination, walking through the airport with your luggage, the cold weather, and even wrapping presents can cause you to feel it. We have some tips from podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon Dr. Dana Brems-Figura to help manage nerve discomfort. Occasional nerve discomfort impacts many people. As we age, natural changes in nerve health may lead to occasional aches, weakness, and discomfort in our hands and feet, even a feeling of burning and stabbing. Many don't know they are experiencing occasional nerve discomfort. People often normalize their discomfort and don't know how to articulate the feeling. For starters, Dr. Dana encourages her patients to talk about it. And to know they don't have to suffer. She also recommends using Nervive Nerve Relief to help reduce occasional nerve discomfort. Nervive Nerve Relief contains neurotropic B vitamins to nourish nerves, build nerve insulation, and enhance nerve communication. It also has a clinically studied amount of Alpha-Lipoic Acid based on a double-blind, placebo-controlled (DBPC) trial, which can reduce nerve discomfort by over 50% in 4 weeks and starts working in as little as 7 days. What else can you do? The doctor says to get your body moving. Whether it's aerobic exercise like jogging or even walking, she says, it will enhance blood flow and circulation to help get nutrients to your nerves. Also, make sure to eat a balanced and healthy diet. Lastly, stay up to date on doctor visits and manage any underlying conditions you may have. To learn more, go to Nervive's website . You can also find it at your local retailer or wherever you usually buy your supplements.

00:00I'm Dr. Dana Brems-Vegora and I'm a podiatrist who's been practicing in the Los Angeles area
00:06for a few years now and today I wanted to talk a little bit about nerve health and in
00:10particular nerve health while you're traveling.
00:12A lot of people actually suffer with occasional nerve discomfort but they don't know that's
00:16what it is.
00:17So some symptoms of nerve discomfort are things like tingling, burning, aching, even pins
00:23and needles type sensation and these are all symptoms of occasional nerve discomfort and
00:29they do pop up during the holidays as we're traveling, during the cold weather and for
00:34example you could be walking through the airport, feel some tingling in your hands or maybe
00:38driving a car and you feel some burning in your foot and some patients even talk about
00:43how when they're doing things like wrapping presents or cooking for their family they
00:46feel that discomfort and so all these are actually signs that it's related to the nerves.
00:52But one of the things that I recommend to my patients is supplementation.
00:56So one supplement that has been very clinically proven to help with nerve health is something
01:00called alpha lipoic acid and ALA is found in all of the cells in our body naturally.
01:05So it's naturally found in our body and it has to do with energy production in the cell
01:10as well as an antioxidant effect.
01:13So ALA is great and then also B vitamins help support nerve health and both of these are
01:18found in the supplement Nervive which has been clinically shown to reduce nerve discomfort
01:23in as little as seven days.
01:25One of the things that I recommend is regular exercise, particularly aerobic exercise.
01:30So think jogging but even things like walking are great for your health.
01:34Not only are they good with blood flow, circulation, but it brings in nutrients to your nerves
01:40and actually helps with nerve health too.
01:42I also recommend eating a nice well-balanced diet and also staying up to date with any
01:47doctor's visits you need to have and controlling any underlying conditions you might have.
01:51To learn more, you can go on Nervive's website or if you're interested in purchasing Nervive,
01:56you can get it from your local retailer or wherever you usually buy your supplements.
