National badminton player Lee Zii Jia's mistake of wearing a jersey with the Jalur Gemilang flag upside down at the HSBC BWF World Tour Finals has been called a "critical error".

Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, speaking to reporters on Saturday (May 10), acknowledged the apology from the world’s number eight player but emphasised that the incident reflected significant negligence.
