00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development does not stop in caring for the people in the area of Vulcan, Canlaon.

00:22The Department of Social Welfare and Development of DSWD continues to focus on the situation affected by Vulcan, Canlaon in Negros Occidental.
00:34They were given family food packs to be ready to eat meals.
00:38DSWD spokesperson, Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao, assured that there is enough funds for the affected residents, especially if the calamity in the country is correct.
00:49The total standby funds available at the central office and the field offices is at P92.2 million pesos.
00:56And then our stockpile for the family food packs is at more than P1.1 billion pesos.
01:03The total is more than P2 billion pesos.
01:06DSWD is also working with other local government units to increase their warehouse.
01:13We are looking at the areas that are prone to various disasters or hazards so that we can strengthen the prepositioning of relief items.
01:25DSWD was also given its program as part of the new Philippines of the Administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
01:33This includes the Walang Gutong Program, a flagship program of the government where they are distributing P3,000 food credits to qualified beneficiaries.
01:43There is also the Trabasa Program and the Pag-Abot Program.
01:47Starting next year, relief packages and food packages will also be distributed under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.
01:55The Mobile Kitchen will also be launched to address malnutrition by providing hot meals.
