00:18The Yakan Tenon and Sama Tepo were the ones who were arrested in the Ropa Rampa

00:23of the local government of Isabela de Bacilan.

00:26The City Tourism Office organized the said activity

00:29where the local works and cultural assets of Isabela City were sold.

00:33The Ropa Rampa was funded by the Department of Trade and Industry or DTI Region 9

00:37under the Luzon Luzad Program of the agency.

00:40Luzon Luzad is a program of the Department of Trade and Industry.

00:44They give grants.

00:47So the budget comes from DTI.

00:49So the Tepo and the Tenon are the greatest gifts of...

00:53We believe that these are the greatest gifts of Isabela to the world.

00:57So we want people to acknowledge that when you say Isabela or Bacilan,

01:01it's really Tenon and Tepo.

01:03Isabela City Mayor Tijala Turabin Hataman gave the DND

01:07the importance of preserving the cultural identity

01:10between the Yakan Tenon and Sama Tepo.

01:13We give importance to the very important part of our culture

01:21and our identity, the Tenon and the Tepo.

01:26And here, through the importance of the Tepo and the Tenon,

01:31we remember that, we value that,

01:35so the whole world knows how great the people of Isabela and Bacilan are.

01:41Highlight also in Ropa Rampa are the amazing designs and works

01:44of the local residents and artists of Luzon

01:46that were selected for the competition.

01:48The so-called initiative is a distant support of the local industries

01:52and glorifies the great art of the local people,

01:55especially the local residents of Luzon

01:57while promoting the traditional Yakan Tenon and Sama Tepo.
