00:00As a continuation of our efforts to expand the reach of the People's Television Network,

00:07following the opening of our Regional Center in Cotabato, BARMM,

00:11the PTV Regional Center in Legazpi, Albay will also open.

00:16And to give more details about this, we will be joined live from Legazpi City, Albay,

00:24Sheila Salaisay. Sheila, good morning! How are you in Legazpi?

00:30Good morning, Diane!

00:32And of course, we will be witnessing a very exciting event

00:37because after 7 years, PTV Legazpi will be back on-air.

00:43The inauguration of the newly-constructed PTV Regional Center is expected to take place at 5 p.m. tomorrow.

00:52The reopening is part of the goal of the People's Television Network

00:55to continue to bring confusing information to the entire Philippines.

01:01Just a little background, PTV-8 Legazpi first opened in 2010 to 2017

01:08where it is operated by a private counterpart with local programming

01:12where it has its own transmitter located in Washington Drive here in Legazpi.

01:17In 2022, the PTV Station will be built in Estanza, Legazpi, Albay

01:22after a Memorandum of Agreement signing by Misivis Land Incorporated and PTV Network.

01:29A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held, a ceremony of sign-on and signing

01:34for the inauguration of PTV Legazpi.

01:38One of the celebrations is Hon. Alfredo Garg, Jr., Mayor of Legazpi City,

01:43and Hon. Glenda Ongbongao, the Governor of the Province of Albay.

01:48Some PTV officials will also be present,

01:51including Ms. Elenita Directo of the Provincial Network Division,

01:54Mr. Joselito Tangol from the Engineering Division,

01:58Engineer Gil Orense, PTV Chief Digital and Innovation Officer,

02:02and of course, PTV General Manager Antonio Tobi Nebrida, Jr.

02:07The PTV-4 Legazpi will serve as a platform for Legazpi and Albay

02:13to hold local programs that will serve as a means

02:16to hear the voices and wishes of our Bicolano fellowmen

02:21who are united in delivering information to the people.

02:25Our General Manager Antonio Tobi Nebrida arrived yesterday,

02:30around 3 p.m., and we followed him to Daraga Airport.

02:36But from yesterday morning until now,

02:39it's been raining heavily and the wind is strong here.

02:41It's expected that the weather will be good for a while,

02:44but we will lay an egg first, just in case.
