Echoes spread when it fell.
I was the one who picked it up
Pieces by pieces
My hands painted red
Gray liquid flowing out.
My mouth is sealed,
With your pristine hands.
The world is covered in dark hue
I would bring the fallen star,
I would search happiness,
I would do anything,
To see the crescent moon rise.
All in vain
Tears in your serine eyes,
Brews a storm in my bleeding heart
I told the stars about you
They said I was making a mistake.
But I shunned their forewarning.
You are the cause of my existence.
To you, I am just a feather
Nothing but speck of dust.
Did I love the dream?
Like folded covers of a book,
Like a lonely cloud wondering alone,
Like Orpheus wailing,
In the end, we became stories
It ended and turned into poetry.\n\nDeepa Rajkumari
