Two Thai nationals have been arrested for allegedly firing shots near a security checkpoint along the Malaysia-Thailand border in Padang Besar, Perlis.

00:38CCTV footage showed the suspects stopping their scooter,
00:42firing around 10 shots from an automatic pistol at the Malaysian border,
00:46collecting the spent cartridges and fleeing the scene.
00:49No injuries were reported and Thai police arrested the suspects the following day.
00:55During questioning, the men admitted to testing a borrowed weapon,
00:58prompting Thai authorities to search for the firearm's owner.
