00:18when officers spotted a blue proton weera being driven against traffic on the Pasir Gudang Highway.
00:24The driver, a 36-year-old local man, refused to stop when ordered, with his 34-year-old partner in the passenger seat.
00:33The car was seen driving erratically, zigzagging from the Pasir Gudang Highway to the Perling Highway,
00:39then on to the north-south expressway before looping back towards Pasir Gudang.
00:44The chase continued through several major roads, including the eastern dispersal link highway,
00:49Persiaran South Quay and Jalan Bakar Batu, before ending at Jalan Persiaran Tanjung Langsat off Jalan Nibong.
00:57Police managed to detain the suspects after an hour and 22 minutes of pursuit,
01:02covering a distance of approximately 96 kilometres.
01:06The chase, which has since gone viral online, involved 14 patrol cars.
01:11Initial urine tests showed both suspects were under the influence of methamphetamine.
01:17The male suspect was also found to be driving without a valid licence and in a vehicle with expired road tax.
01:25Both individuals have prior drug-related records.
01:28They have been remanded until Saturday to assist with investigations.
