00:00Former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamad has accused three former ministers who served

00:06in his cabinet of lying about the Batu Putih issue.

00:09He dismissed their claims that they did not have an opportunity to state their stance

00:13on the matter, adding that he was embarrassed to have had them in his cabinet.

00:17Mahathir also said the leaked cabinet meeting minutes show that the joint statement released

00:21by Dr. Wan Aziza Wan Ismail, Lok Siu Fook and Mohamad Sabu was not true.

00:27While Secretary General Taqiuddin Hassan previously said the meeting minutes showed that they

00:31had all agreed to drop the applications to review the 2008 ruling by the International

00:36Court of Justice on Batu Putih.

00:39Last week, the PH trio said that during the cabinet meeting in 2018, they were only informed

00:44of Mahathir's decision not to proceed with the applications.

00:47They claimed there was no room for any decision making as Mahathir had already made the decision

00:52in writing.

00:53However, Mahathir contended that they did not speak up against the decision to drop

00:57the legal applications.
