A man, who was caught on camera mistreating a cat last month, has been fined RM10,000 by the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.
Judge Norina Zainol Abidin imposed the sentence after 43-year-old Goh Kuan Pan, pleaded guilty to a charge of dragging a British Shorthair by the neck with a rope, causing inhumane suffering to the cat.

00:47The judge ordered Gok to be jailed for two months if he fails to pay the fine.
00:51On November 25, KL Police Chief Datuk Rusdi Mohamad Isa said a local man was arrested
00:57at his residence in Jalan Klang Lama at 6.10pm on suspicion of abusing the cat.
