00:05that was filed against former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., former First Lady Imelda Marcos and others.

00:20The Sandigan Bayan Second Division destroyed the last 6 remaining cases related to the misuse of UMANO

00:27of the controversial Coconut Levy Funds against the Marcos family and other personalities.

00:32In the 42nd page of the Sandigan Bayan Resolution,

00:36it destroyed the cases against the former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.,

00:41former First Lady Imelda Marcos, former Senator and current Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile,

00:47the owners of Maria Clara Lobregat, Jesus Pineda, and Cesar Zalamea.

00:52Because of the inordinate delay or excessive delay of hearings,

00:57their right to quick litigation was violated.

01:00The prosecution said that the spread of evidence and witnesses

01:06from one more case has been going on for almost four decades.

01:09There were also a lot of pleadings for an unjustified violation of the hearings.

01:14Because of this, all the civil cases against the Marcos family are disappearing

01:19so that they can get their illegal UMANO funds back through the Coconut Levy Fund.

01:25The PCGG refused to answer on the merits of the case because it violates the sub judice rule.

01:30But despite the destruction, the Presidential Commission on Good Government, or PCGG, did not give up.

01:36They said that they will sign a motion for reconsideration on the Sandigan Bayan

01:40and if it is still not given, they will file a case with the Supreme Court

01:45to question the decision of the Anti-Graft Court.

01:48The dismissal is with respect to certain individuals.

01:52But there are other defendants in the case.

01:56We are confident that we can still prove the other allegations in our complaint

02:02despite the dismissal of the case with respect to certain defendants.

02:07We are looking at certain angles which we will try to study

02:13and argue before the Supreme Court if the opportunity presents itself.

02:23In another text message, Solicitor General Menardo Guevara said

02:26that they are already consulting the PCGG on their next legal step.
