00:36That's the story that Joe Douglas had a trade for Jerry Judy last offseason, who of course
00:40ended up going to Cleveland, and that Woody Johnson nixed the trade because he told Joe
00:46Douglas that Judy's Madden rating wasn't good enough.
00:51He also didn't want to sign John Simpson because of his Madden awareness rating.
00:55They did sign Simpson, and he's played pretty well for them this year.
00:57Now, why would Woody have any idea about Madden ratings?
01:00That's because apparently his teenage sons, Brick and Jack, have direct influence on football
01:07decisions.
01:08Joe Douglas reportedly told someone, quote, I report to a teenager, end quote.
01:13The infamous meeting at the end of the Bronco game earlier this year in September where
01:17Woody wanted to bench Aaron Rodgers was allegedly, quote, a joke to see how people would react.
01:24Woody last year preferred that they keep draft pick number 257, which of course is
01:29called Mr. Irrelevant, rather than 256.
01:31The team called and wanted to trade for the last pick in the draft.
01:35Woody said no, trade him a better pick.
01:38I want to keep 257 in case we get a Brock Purdy type situation and have a Mr. Irrelevant
01:44that we can sell.
01:45I could keep going if you want.
01:48The Johnson family walk around the locker room disparaging players, both him, the wife,
01:54and the kids.
01:55Woody allegedly told Mike White back in 2022 after they lost to Seattle that he Pharrell
02:00and sucked, and then he had to apologize to him in the locker room after.
02:06Other players have heard the kids, the teenage sons, saying bad things about the players
02:11in the locker room after games.
02:13Woody ripped down all of Robert Salah's all gas, no brake signs earlier this season.

03:10way they talk to players and treat players and their ideas about who's good and who isn't,

03:33As much as we want to sit here and we bash all these people that have worked for that
03:37organization over the last 10, 15, 20 years, whatever it is, it all goes back to that
03:45guy at the end of the day.
03:47He's a problem.
03:50In fact, in the story, it also said that there was people in the organization that were praying
03:55that Trump would give him that job back in the United Kingdom so that he would go away
03:59again for four years and that Woody was actually legitimately upset when he didn't get it.
04:04And then Trump gave it to somebody else for this year.
04:07Man, Woody done some job owning the Jets.
04:09Just sell the team.
04:10I wouldn't be surprised at all that he was upset about not getting back into the political
04:17end of things for Trump.
04:19He loved that gig.
