00:00Hello, it's Sam Morton, a reporter for Sussex World. I've just watched Brighton draw 1-1 away at West Ham United.
00:07It was a really dour first half that neither team really performed well in, but it did definitely come to life after the break
00:14with Matt Swiefer getting his first goal for Brighton and it was much deserved as he was probably the best player in the first half
00:20and it was great to see him get that first goal and really cap off a fine display.
00:25It was really unfortunate to see him go off injured just moments later.
00:28The goal was given after a brief VAR check, as well as I should mention, but it was given after a check for offside on Lewis Dunk.
00:36He also performed well and he did redeem himself after a bit of a ball to spare against Crystal Palace,
00:41but that old habit of conceding after going ahead did happen to Brighton again.
00:47It was Mohamed Koudouz who scored the equaliser after Jarad Bowen's shot was saved by Mark Verbruggen.
00:53Another two points dropped for Brighton as they weren't able to find a winner despite having numerous chances.
00:59Yassine Ayari came probably the closest with a point-blank range chance that he perhaps should have scored.
01:05Evan Ferguson also mistimed an effort as he came off the bench.
01:09Another frustrating result. Five now without a win in the Premier League.
01:13There will definitely be some positives to take, but from the result, frustrating.
