00:00So we are outside Portman Road where Newcastle United have just beaten Islington Town 4-0.
00:06Absolute dominant display by Eddie Howe's men as the scoreline suggests.
00:12To be fair it's been a pretty comfortable week for Newcastle United.
00:16Leicester 4-0, Brentford 3-1 and yet 4-0 today.
00:23I think Eddie Howe and his players deserve massive credit for the way they've responded since that Brentford defeat.
00:31There was criticism after that game because it had been an up and down start to the season.
00:37This was a big week, three games on paper. I expect Newcastle are going to at least take the ownership of these teams.
00:42They've come through absolutely flying colours.
00:45Today was probably the most comfortable of the lot.
00:48Alexander Isaac, what a player. We already know he's world class but that was further evidence today.
00:54A hat-trick for him. Three cool, calm finishes and just showed his class because we all know he is an unbelievable footballer.
01:07Eddie Howe has asked in the press comments about keeping Alexander Isaac at his football club.
01:13He's not going anywhere. Newcastle should do absolutely everything to keep him here as long as possible.
01:19I don't think there are many better strikers in world football. He's just remarkable.
01:25It was good to see him finally get a haircut because he's had lots of braces and a Newcastle shirt.
01:30But today is when he completed the treble.
01:33We'll go across the park, there was lots of good performances out there.
01:37The midfield was excellent. Just a real key cog in that midfield.
01:42The balance is there and it's largely down to him.
01:45They lost Joe Linton today but Joe Willock came in and did relatively well.
01:48They didn't really miss Joe Linton much. You usually do when you come to away grounds but they didn't miss him.
01:53You go across the park as well.
01:55Jacob Murphy, special engineer, he was pretty sensational today.
01:59With all the talk of Newcastle leading the right winger, of course I still probably think that stands in the transfer market.
02:04But I'll give Jacob a minute of credit. He came into the team of late in the last three games.
02:08He's just got three goals and three assists.
02:10A special mention to him. A lovely assist from Alexander Isak.
02:13A hat-trick goal with a little cheeky flick.
02:15A real good afternoon here at Portman Road.
02:19Next up, Aston Villa on Boxing Day.
