00:00Most parts of the country experienced rainy weather from Christmas Eve up to today,
00:05particularly in southern Luzon and Bicol region. In Sampaloc to Sarayaya, Quezon,
00:11some roads went underwater due to heavy rains. The Bicol region also experienced
00:16rainy weather resulting in flooding in Sitio Ologon, Barangay San Isidro, and Libon Albay
00:21that also marked Christmas where some residents were unable to celebrate Noche Buena.
00:27In Legaspi City, some barangays implemented pre-emptive evacuation.
00:31There was also a landslide in Barangay Laganak, Balatan, Camarines Sur making a portion of the
00:37road impassable to automobiles of all makes and sizes. A warning has also been issued to motorists
00:44in Inanandaya Highway, Lupit, Camarines Sur still under construction collapsed due to overnight rain.
00:51Rain was also experienced in Oriental Mindoro where floodwaters stood this morning along the
00:57Alag-Santa Rosa Road in Baco. According to Pagasa, the rains are caused by the shear line or the
01:02interaction of the northeast monsoon and the easterlies.
