00:00A construction worker who was arrested for smoking marijuana in Quezon City was arrested.

00:05The suspect, who is on the drugs watch list of the barangay and the police, did not give a statement.

00:13We were arrested 9 months ago.

00:16The police arrested a 31-year-old construction worker

00:20after he was arrested for smoking marijuana in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

00:25According to the authorities, they are carrying out an anti-criminality patrol

00:29where they will receive a call from a man seen near the school.

00:32When the police approached, the suspect ran away.

00:36With the help of the bystanders in the area, we were able to catch him.

00:43In plain view, we were able to get him 1.5 kilos of marijuana wrapped in a transparent plastic.

00:55The drug is worth Php 180,000.

00:58The QCPD also identified the source of the drug.

01:02The suspect reportedly sells illegal drugs, shabu and marijuana

01:11somewhere in Old Balara and Barangay Batasan Hills.

01:15His target is students in schools.

01:20This is not the first time the suspect has been arrested.

01:23He was arrested in August 2021 for selling shabu.

01:27He is on the drugs watch list of the barangay and the police.

01:33The suspect is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
