00:00I'm Lauren Shaw from Vintage Trainers. We are here in Waterlooville Town Centre.
00:04We'll be here for the next 10 weeks until about the beginning of March time.
00:08So we're here as a pop-up shop as part of the Waterlooville Regeneration Scheme.
00:13So that means we've got a reduced rent for these 10 weeks to be able to
00:17display our products within the Waterlooville Town Centre and to see our customers on first base.
00:24Brilliant, so tell me just a little bit more about the business.
00:30So obviously it's trainers.
00:31Yes, so we buy all of our trainers in, they're all second-hand refurbished.
00:37So we buy them to stop them going to landfill.
00:40So Matt, our other co-founder, will hand clean every single pair.
00:44So we clean the upper, the sole and the midsole
00:47to make them look as brand new as we can possibly make them.
00:50Brilliant, and what's the reaction been like so far since you've been open?
00:53Yes, so far we've been here for two days now and so far it's been really good.
00:57We've had a lot of footfall, more than we expected to come into the shop.
01:00And everyone seems to be loving it so far. It's something different from Waterlooville.
01:05And then after the 10 weeks, are you hoping to obviously
01:08you find yourself a premises permanently or?
01:10Yes, so we're hoping, obviously depending on how this goes here,
01:13we're hoping to see the possibilities of maybe
01:16having a shop in the future. That would be really good, yeah.
