00:00Let's look at what we saw this year and pick some of our favorites from what we
00:06saw in 2024 in the BKFC. First up let's talk male fighter of the year. So for us
00:11on our list we got Franco Tanaglia up there after he had a great year for the
00:16BKFC winning that title over there in Spain. Kai Stewart who defended his belt
00:20twice as well with the Brian Duran and Jimmy Rivera fights even though that we
00:24question the the refereeing maybe in the Rivera fight a little bit some of those
00:28knockdowns could have changed things but still he gets the win so undefeated
00:32year for him. Leonardo Perdomo big dude big hands big knockouts 4-0 four
00:38finishes you know so far this year and then Alberto Blas undefeated as well
00:43gets the title from Richardson then defended against Rivera. Who are you
00:46picking for your male fighter of the year in the BKFC? It's hard to go away
00:51from any of those guys but I mean to me you got Perdomo out there heavyweight
00:57undefeated not even making it out of the first round this guy you can't even
01:01make it out of the round with the guy that's tough to deal with so to me
01:05everybody wants to see the big tells everybody wants to know about the
01:08heavyweight champ I think we have a guy who's primed and ready he wants to get
01:12in there and take people out quickly he comes throwing bombs he doesn't care
01:17that guy's you go 4-0 and four first-round knockouts what else what
01:21else can you do man I think that he has to get it. Yeah a great year for him
01:27he was up there for us as well like he said you know you keep raising level
01:31competition early on when you get a guy in there and he's beating people you're
01:34like all right but who is this guy beating I mean the level competition
01:37kept getting raised and he leveled up every time it didn't drop off it didn't
01:41take longer it just was more violent every time a great year for Perdomo for
01:45sure. Female fighter of the year now for these women were a little less active
01:48unfortunately so it's hard to pick someone we got a you know maybe stretch
01:52some of these nominations but we still love all them and looking forward to
01:55seeing what's next for them in 2025 I mean you have Vachon's rising up to
02:00getting her title shot we thought maybe she could have jumped of course
02:04Masan Wong and even gotten that earlier but she gets to her title shot before
02:08the year is done you also have Natalie Gage who's 2-0 with wins over
02:12Click and Roman so far in 2024 for her you have Taylor Starling one and one for
02:17her but you know came back dropped to a new weight class got a great fight
02:20against Savage and then got to fight for the title against Britton Hart on a
02:24awesome card in a great fight back and forth between those two ladies out in
02:27Sturgis then of course Britton Hart the aforementioned champion right there only
02:31one fight for her this year but it was a great fight against Taylor Starling and
02:35then Christine Faria the misfit there are two title fights for her we've given
02:41her I give her credit to that she's supposed to have another one you know
02:44she wasn't as active as she wanted to be the fight against Wong wasn't the fight
02:47that she wanted to be but I don't put that on her either her opponent was just
02:50clutching and grabbing the whole fight so you know she only had the two fights
02:53but I thought probably could have been more if it was up to her a great year
02:57for her as well who do you think is the female fighter of the year for the BKFC
03:01you know it's unfortunate if you didn't do this for another three or four days
03:06we would have the answer because we have the stands fighting for it I think
03:11whoever wins that's definitely the person who gets female fighter of the
03:14year because that's going to give them their third win it's a title level that
03:18that's what it's going to be about so I'm holding off telling us until we
03:21find out who wins that fight what's with that is that's going to be the tip
03:24however you know I do I really do like what I've seen from Natalie Gage she
03:30fought for us twice puts on wars and comes a fight doesn't look like she
03:34gets rattled at all just nice straight clean boxing great year for all those
03:40ladies and looking forward to getting the women's divisions expanded even
03:43further hopefully in the coming year
