00:00Everyone is clinched except the final spot.
00:03Basically the scenario is, Joe,
00:05Broncos win against the Chiefs, they get it.
00:08Broncos lose, Miami is next in the door.
00:11If they beat the Jets, they would get it.
00:13Broncos and Miami lose, the Bengals beat the Steelers,
00:17they would get it.
00:19If all three of them lose, Joe,
00:21the Broncos would hold the card and would stay where they are.
00:26Do you expect it to be the Broncos?
00:28I would guess, considering it's going to be
00:31a Carson Wentz-led Kansas City Chiefs attack
00:35for that game this week.
00:37Yeah, listen, if I'm Denver, the only thing I want
00:40is I want to be able to control my own destiny, right?
00:43And you can do that still, Denver,
00:45and you have a chance to do it
00:47against the backups of the Kansas City Chiefs.
00:50So Denver is sitting in the spot you want to be in
00:55as opposed to Miami, of course, and Cincinnati,
00:58who the only thing they really control
01:00is just beat the teams you have to play
01:02and then hope that somebody else doesn't handle business.
01:06So I would much rather beat Denver,
01:09and that's why I thought Denver always knew
01:12in the back of their head,
01:14once Kansas City beat Pittsburgh on Christmas,
01:16you had to win one of the next two games and you were in.
01:20So even if you couldn't get it done this week
01:22against Cincinnati, the chances are
01:24you'd be at home playing Kansas City's backup.
01:27So still got to go out and get it done.
01:29You still got a rookie quarterback,
01:31but I do think the line is 8 1⁄2.
01:34Yeah, it's probably going to be double digits.
01:38Yeah, you know, I've seen some weird things
01:43in these last weeks of these regular seasons.
01:46You've seen some very strange things,
01:49and I don't know if I completely trust Denver
01:54to win that game.
01:56I know I definitely don't trust them
01:59to lay 8 1⁄2 in that game.
02:01That I do know. That's Chiefs for me.
02:04Because when you're as good a team as the Chiefs is, Joe,
02:07and I know that their main component
02:10isn't going to be out there,
02:12that is a winning team.
02:14From the first guy to the 55th, 54th, 53rd, 52nd guy.
02:20Everyone on that team has that winning feeling,
02:24and they're going to get a chance to go in there
02:26and show that they can do it too.
02:28I'd be very nervous.
02:30If it was anyone else, Joe,
02:32I'd say probably not a problem.
02:34I think the Chiefs makes it scary for Denver in that game.
02:39Now Cincinnati's going to play Saturday night in Pittsburgh.
02:43Me and Pharrell were talking about this.
02:45He's going to the game, and I said,
02:47I hope you got an early enough flight on Saturday
02:49that they might move that game to Saturday.
02:51And sure enough, they did.
02:53It's the late game, so we won't have an issue.
02:55The Bengals are favored 1 1⁄2 in Pittsburgh on Saturday night.
02:58And I know the Bengals are the team everyone wants in,
03:01but I think that the path is just a little too hard, Joe,
03:04because I'm not sure they're going to get both to happen.
03:08Denver and Miami.
03:10That seems like a lot to bite off and chew.
03:14And also a pretty big game for Pittsburgh
03:17if they have any intentions of actually getting a home game
03:21and winning the AFC North here.
03:24And who wants to go into the playoffs losing four in a row?
03:29Because that's what's at tap here for the Steelers,
03:32and it's not going to be a walk in the park.
03:34So this is a huge game for both of these teams.
03:39But once again, the Bengals, you got to win this game,
03:43and then you got to hope.
03:44But if they don't win and the Steelers win,
03:46well then, you know, it's going to make the Denver game even less juicy,
03:52so to speak, here when they have to take them on on Sunday.
