00:00Um, we were talking about earlier, the fact that, uh, you know, I don't care about, you
00:11know, the chiefs locks going to run out one of these days and in these upcoming days in
00:17these upcoming scheduled games that they have, I don't give a rat's ass about even Christmas
00:24day against the Steelers because it's meaningless.
00:27All that matters is week two of the divisional semis is that's when it hits that they lose
00:34at Arrowhead in one of their one score games.
00:38And then if it's not, then it's the next week in the AFC championship game.
00:43I need it to end one of those two weekends, otherwise we're going to have to go down and
00:49eat fish and talk about them again for a third straight year.
00:52And that makes me sick to my stomach.
00:54Yeah, I agree with you, Scott.
00:56I think the, the people that are assuming that the demise of the Kansas city chiefs
01:00has begun for real because they're winning closely are delusional.
01:05You can also make the argument that they're beat up, banged up, that they've had a million
01:09injuries and they're still winning football games and you know, they're going to dial
01:14it up a notch.
01:15There's a different level, right?
01:16There's a different level in the playoffs, specifically at the coaching position.
01:23And you know, Andy Reid's going to dial it up.
01:25You know, Spagnola is going to dial it up in a 60 game setting.
01:28So they're like the wicked witch of the West, Scott.
01:30And I know this new wicked movie is a smash success, but that's who the Kansas city chiefs
01:35are.
01:36They're the wicked witch of the West.
01:37And until you finish them off and they're gone, they're not gone.
01:42Like they're not done.
01:43This doesn't matter, but it does matter, Scott, that you try to knock them off the perch at
01:47least that they don't have home field.
01:50I don't think anybody, like even if I was a Buffalo bills, I'm not going to feel good
01:53about going in Arrowhead and a conference championship game.
01:56You've got to at least, at least get them on the road and give yourselves a better chance.
02:03But I'm with you, Scott, until they're beat, bro.
02:05I mean, no one thinks they're ever going to win Scott.
02:07And even in the past years, they're not very good.
02:09They're not going to win this and that.
02:12And they find ways and they find ways in a playoff.
02:14So I'm with you.
02:15The chiefs are still the team to beat.
02:17Let's not kid ourselves.
02:18You got the chiefs, you got the bills, you got the Steelers.
02:22Team's starting to fade a little bit.
02:24I don't think the Chargers will be a fun team to play in a playoff, Scott, but let's not
02:28kid ourselves, guys.
02:29The Kansas City Chiefs are the team to beat in the National Football League still.
02:34This isn't college football where we're judging like style points, guys.
02:38It's different.
02:39This is pro football.
02:41The chiefs are the team to beat.
02:42I agree with you.
02:43And then, I mean, like, look, those are, you know, Denver would be a playoff team right
02:49now.
02:50Houston is going to be a playoff team.
02:52Baltimore and then the three Kings, which are Kansas City, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh.
02:58Of all those teams, you watched, you know, Denver last night, Bo Nix, that defense, Sertan.
03:06My guess would be they would not have a home game, but they would have to go on the road.
03:10Do you consider the Chargers and Broncos and Ravens?
03:15Now, I've already seen the Ravens live.
03:17The Steelers beat them.
03:18I went to the game.
03:20All they do is lose big games lately, if you haven't noticed.
03:22So, of all those teams, who's got the best shot of surviving with Kansas City, Buffalo,
03:29and Pittsburgh?
03:30None of them.
03:31I say none of them.
03:32No, you know what the thing is, Scott, I think, I don't want to sound cliche, but I think
03:36you would agree with this.
03:37In a modern NFL, anybody can kind of beat anybody.
03:40So, when you're talking about like the Broncos, the Chargers, the Texans of the world, although
03:45I don't think much of the Texans this year, like it wouldn't shock me if they won a playoff
03:52game, right?
03:53I mean, they can win a wild card game, but I don't see the Broncos being able to string
03:56together three games, as you stated.
03:59As it is now, Scott, the Broncos, if it held true, if the Chiefs hung on to the top seed
04:04and the Bills hung on to the second seed, it would be Denver at Buffalo.
04:09It would be Denver at Buffalo in the playoffs.
04:12I'm not going to dismiss them, but I think the Buffalo Bills would win, but I don't think
04:16the Chargers or the Broncos or the Texans have three games in them, Scott.
04:19You know what I mean?
04:20Where they're going to get that hot, where it's like, all right, look, we won this game,
04:24we won that game, now we're going to go on the road and win the conference championship
04:26game.
04:27I don't see that happening, but I think they're legitimately dangerous.
04:31And you know, if you ask me, Scott, you get into a 60-minute setting, you know, the Broncos
04:37are a load, bro, and so are the Chargers.
04:40You know, to me, because of the coaching, coaching matters in the playoffs, guys.
04:43You have a week to prepare for these games, and coaches can really come up with some stuff,
04:48and we see the difference of great coaching in past years in the playoffs.
04:53Sean Payton's won a Super Bowl before, Sean Payton's coached in big playoff games before.
04:57So you give him a week to prepare for a team, he's going to come up with some kinks and
05:02some tweaks, and similar with Harbaugh, Harbaugh's been in a Super Bowl, Harbaugh's won a national
05:07championship.
05:08You get into a 60-minute game with Harbaugh, and he's just going to want to bleed that
05:12clock and shorten the game.
05:14So I don't think they're going to be a lot of fun to play, Scott, so, and in fact, let's
05:17keep it on this theme.
05:18I think the Chargers, we're going to find out a hell of a lot this Sunday night about
05:22both teams.
05:23I think the Chargers can go into Kansas City and actually beat them.
05:26In past years, guys, even with that clown Staley as their coach, they used to hang around.
05:32The Chargers have always competed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
05:36And now you've got Harbaugh rolling in here.
05:39They can run the ball.
05:40Obviously, they've got injuries right now with Dobbins, but L.A. played good defense,
05:45Scott.
05:46Smash Mouth, Big Ten-style football team.
05:48That's going to be a close game.
05:49I like the Chargers plus the points, and let's see if the Chargers can knock them off.
