00:00and really talk about the cultural impact of the film,
00:02which I feel like you guys have really spoke about
00:05through every question, but what do you hope audiences,
00:09especially younger, the younger generation,
00:11takes away from 6 Triple A
00:12and about black women's role in shaping history?
00:16One of my favorite things about this story,
00:19this true story, and by any kind, about charity,
00:22is that these were all your everyday people.
00:25They were average people.
00:27When you talk about the life that they lived each day,
00:29or one, two, you really get the sense
00:32that it's the average people that made such a huge difference
00:36in millions of people's lives.
00:38What is it, 17 million pieces of mail and packaging?
00:42Just think about how many families were soothed
00:45by what these women did.
00:47That to you is, you can do anything you put your mind to,
00:51and work with your community the correct way.
00:54Instead of doing what some of the agendas
00:58that they have taught us to do in the past,
01:00when you just remember that
01:02and you really hone in on the mission,
01:04I think you get it right when you do that.
01:06And anybody can do that.
01:08That's the thing I hope that young women
01:10see and feel from this.
01:11Lena was 17 years old, 17.
01:14I love when you talk about them being not just soldiers,
01:16but healers, because that's what these letters did.
01:20They brought healing to these men serving,
01:23and they helped to end a war
01:26that protected democracy all over the world.
01:30For me, I feel like my hope is that
01:33people just know who these women are,
01:35that they celebrate these women,
01:36that they get the flowers, that they are so due,
01:40that we lift them up as heroes,
01:43but also to Ebony's point,
01:44that we lift them up as examples of the best of us,
01:47so that we know that we too can walk toward
01:51whatever the mission is of our lives.
01:54Because they were, yeah, we can become whoever it is
01:57that we feel called to being,
01:59that best version of ourselves,
02:01because they did that,
02:02and they did that facing racism and misogyny
02:05and insanely terrible working conditions.
02:09They did it in a war time.
02:10They did it up against systems
02:12that were not fighting for them,
02:15but they fought for the best in themselves
02:17because they believed in themselves,
02:19despite the doubts that were in them
02:21or the doubts that they came up against.
02:23So I think that idea of lifting them up,
02:26celebrating them, and then letting them,
02:29yeah, letting them remind us of who we can be
02:32with faith and community and strength.
02:35Definitely.
