The MSI MEG Vision X AI is a flagship gaming desktop with a twist. Instead of a standard front panel, it has a 13.3-inch touchscreen display that acts as a second monitor. You can open apps, watch videos on it, or even use it to switch the performance profile of your PC and will feature the latest Intel chip and a top of the line Nvidia GPU.

00:00Is this the future of multi-monitor setups?
00:02From monitoring your PC system specs to watching movies,
00:07to even browsing the web,
00:08this massive 13.3 inch screen can do it all.
00:11With a setup like this, I could have everything right here.
00:14I have my time, my date, you know, world time.
00:16What time is it back home in New York?
00:18I can see it right there at a glance.
00:20And then you can change it based on what you're doing.
00:22So if you want to have your work apps,
00:24you know, your Microsoft apps.
00:26If you're in a meeting, maybe you want to snip,
00:28you want to take a screenshot,
00:30you want to pull up your calculator.
00:32I feel like I can already do so much with this screen
00:34and I haven't even scratched the surface
00:36of what's possible yet.
00:38I have a miniature screen under my main monitor right here.
00:41I have to run all the cables.
00:42I have to connect everything.
00:44I have to mess with it in Windows.
00:45But with this, it's built right into the PC
00:48and it takes all the trouble work out.
00:50You don't have to, you know, shop for a screen.
00:51You don't have to set it up.
00:52You don't need a stand or anything like that.
00:55It's all right here and it's really bright.
00:57It's really big.
00:58It's almost perfect.
01:00So you can pick your own background.
01:02You can, you know, use AI generated images if you want.
01:05You can have a video backgrounds
01:07instead of just still images.
01:09You can really tweak the colors.
01:11There's a lot you can do in it all
01:13just through MSI's software.
01:14So we have seen PC cases with screens in them before,
01:18but you know, you have to build them yourself.
01:20You have to troubleshoot.
01:21You have to do all that stuff on your own.
01:22Here, it's all integrated right into the case
01:25of the MegVision XAI.
01:27This is a flagship gaming desktop from MSI.
01:31It's gonna have all the bells and whistles,
01:33you know, the latest graphics card, latest processor,
01:35when it launches at the end of this year.
01:37And as you see, we have RGB fans on the inside.
01:40We have an RGB light bar here.
01:42We have one on the bottom.
01:44And you can actually control them all right with the screen.
01:47Patrick Gelsinger, the CEO of Intel,
01:49he signed it when he stopped by the show floor
01:51the other day at Computex.
01:52It's using one of MSI's special motherboards
01:56where all the connectors are in the back.
01:57So you have a really clean build on the inside.
02:01All right, normally I build my own PCs.
02:03I love doing it, but with this integrated screen
02:06and how it works just so well with everything,
02:08I might consider going with a pre-built this time around.
02:11For me personally, the way that I would use this is,
02:13you know, let's say I'm working on my main monitor.
02:16You know, I always need to keep up with the latest news.
02:18So I love to just come through Google News,
02:21scroll through, see what's in the news boxes,
02:24see what's trending,
02:26and to make sure I don't miss any upcoming stories.
02:28So, you know, as a writer, I'm more of a words guy,
02:31and math kind of eludes me.
02:33And I would love to just bring up the calculator
02:36and do some quick math when I need it.
02:37My own desktop PC, I use Rocket Launcher
02:40to quickly access the apps I need.
02:42I know it's like the Mac OS dock, but I'm a Windows user.
02:45So here I can kind of replace that
02:47and I can have all the apps I need right here.
02:49So I could just doot, doot, doot, and open when I need to.
02:53Typically with, you know, the smaller displays
02:55we see in desktop PCs,
02:56it's just for monitoring your specs.
02:58And you can see all that here.
03:00You see, you know, your temperatures
03:01and, you know, your frequencies, your clock speeds,
03:04but you can also switch at the bottom.
03:06So if, you know, oh, I'm going to play a game,
03:07you can go to extreme performance,
03:09or, oh, I'm in a meeting,
03:11I don't want my PC making a lot of noise,
03:13you can switch to silent.
03:14That is pretty cool.
03:15So that was the MegVision XAI.
03:17It's coming at the end of this year.
03:19It's a really neat idea.
03:21And instead of having to do it yourself,
03:23MSI did all the hard work
03:25by integrating the 13.3-inch touchscreen display
03:28into the front of the PC case.
03:30So if you had a gaming desktop
03:31with a giant 13.3-inch touchscreen,
03:34what would you use it for?
