00:00The number of firecracker-related injuries brought to the East Avenue Medical Center has increased significantly compared to the previous year.

00:12The East Avenue Medical Center has already issued a code white alert as a preparation for the expected increase in the number of firecrackers to be brought in the new year.

00:22According to the latest report from the EAMC, the number of firecrackers brought to the hospital will reach 12.

00:28According to the EAMC spokesman, Dr. John Polner, 10 of these were brought home while the other two are still confined and are being observed by doctors.

00:39A patient was injured in the hand that needed to be cut off after a 5-star shot was fired, while another patient was injured in the burn due to the use of a whistle bomb.

00:51The number of firecrackers brought to the EAMC has been decreasing since December 31, and sometimes it even reaches January 2.

01:00According to the hospital, the number is higher compared to the previous year, where only three cases of firecracker-related injuries were brought to the EAMC.

01:09According to the EAMC, it is possible that the affected part of the body may be infected with tetanus if the patient is not brought to the hospital immediately.

01:18That is why the EAMC gave a reminder to the firecrackers on what they should do.

01:24We are advising the firecrackers to go to the nearest hospital or health facility so that they can be examined and treated.

01:35Aside from the firecrackers, the EAMC is also monitoring the cases of those who were struck.
