00:06as well as the effective increase in contribution to the SSS.

00:10But that's not the only possible increase in expenses this year.

00:19New year, new rise in prices for some buyers.

00:23From today, the first day of 2025, Manila Water and Manila Water's water price is effective.

00:29If you're a customer of Manila, the average increase is P7.32 per cubic meter.

00:35P5.95 for Manila Water.

00:38On March 5, the MWSS Regulatory Office will announce

00:42if there will be a change in the water concessionaires' fees.

00:46On top of the fees, Marites has not yet paid the water fees since November.

00:52That's why while many businesses are closed during the new year,

00:56they are eager to open their stores to save money.

01:08The Meralco or Electric Co-operative has not yet announced.

01:11But the Energy Regulatory Commission has already allowed the National Grid Corporation

01:16to contract this power reserve in 2024,

01:20if it's possible to increase the cost of electricity.

01:22That's more than P3 billion that will be deducted from the electricity consumer for 3 to 6 months.

01:33According to the Toll Regulatory Board,

01:35there's something wrong with their petitions on increasing the toll fees.

02:09For households in Metro Manila,

02:11from P6,500 minimum wage since January 4, it's already P7,000.

02:17Households in Northern Mindanao and Caraga will receive an additional P1,000 from P5,000 to P6,000.

02:24Minimum wage earners in Northern Mindanao will receive an additional P23,000.

02:29While P50 for Caraga will be given in two tranches this month and in May.
