00:00The North Luzon Expressway, or NLEX, is known as a premier gateway of many who went to various provinces to spend the holidays.

00:07Naturally, it is also there where authorities expect the influx of metropolis-bound vacationers to pass through to go back to their respective city lives.

00:15Noel Talacay gives us an update on the situation at NLEX Live. Good evening, Noel.

00:20Charms, according to the management of North Luzon Expressway, or NLEX, the influx of vehicles here or along NLEX might start tonight up until or it will continue until Monday, January 6.

00:43So let's see if this is happening now. Behind me is Balintawak toll plaza or toll gate plaza and right now there's a sudden stop of vehicles once they reach the toll gate of Balintawak but the queue of vehicles is still manageable.

01:03As of now, the situation here is light traffic. The same situation can be seen at the Mindanao toll plaza, San Fernando, northbound and southbound.

01:13However, there is a long queue of vehicles approximately 50 meters on the right side of Bukawit toll plaza where vehicles from the provinces are heading into Metro Manila.

01:27Other areas of NLEX, SC Techs, the NLEX Connector including toll plazas and interchanges are experiencing light traffic.

01:38At 8 o'clock tonight, NLEX monitored a road crash after Mega Caltex southbound which caused a traffic backup with an approximate 2.1 kilometer queue.

01:51However, the management of NLEX has confirmed that the area has now been cleared.

01:58CHARMS, the only advice from the management of NLEX to our motorists who are traveling tonight up until Monday, first make sure that their vehicles are properly checked

02:15and the drivers should not be intoxicated with any alcoholic drink and they should have enough rest to make sure to avoid accidents along the road that will cause inconvenience to other motorists.

02:32And also, NLEX also advising our motorists to make sure that RFIDs have enough balance. CHARMS?
