पुंछ ( जम्मू-कश्मीर ) - सेना ने पुंछ जिले के मेंढर तहसील के आखिरी गांव डेरी में मेडिकल कैंप लगाया। इस कैंप का उद्देश्य सीमावर्ती क्षेत्र के उन निवासियों को चिकित्सा सुविधा प्रदान करना था, जो स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं से वंचित रहते हैं। कैंप में स्थानीय निवासियों ने बड़ी संख्या में भाग लिया और अपने स्वास्थ्य की जांच करवाई। विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों की टीम ने उनकी जांच कर मुफ्त दवाइयां वितरित कीं। इसके अलावा, ग्रामीणों को ठंड के मौसम में अपनी सेहत का ख्याल रखने और विभिन्न बीमारियों से बचाव के लिए महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी भी दी गई। इस कैंप का एक अन्य प्रमुख उद्देश्य ग्रामीणों के मवेशियों की जांच करना भी था। सेना के वेटरनरी डॉक्टरों ने मवेशियों की सेहत का जायजा लिया और ग्रामीणों को उनके देखभाल के तरीके बताए। मवेशियों की बीमारियों के उपचार और उन्हें स्वस्थ रखने के लिए दवाइयों की जानकारी भी दी गई। ग्रामीणों ने इस प्रयास के लिए भारतीय सेना का आभार व्यक्त किया और कहा कि सेना हमेशा उनकी मदद के लिए तत्पर रहती है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस कैंप ने न केवल उनकी स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं को दूर किया बल्कि उनके मवेशियों के स्वास्थ्य के प्रति भी जागरूकता बढ़ाई है।
