00:00The Philippine Navy's ongoing investigation continues

00:03on the recovered submersible drones in Masbate.

00:08Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard is closely monitoring

00:11the China's monster ship that is still inside the country's EEZ.

00:16Patrick De Jesus has the details of the country's news.

00:21The Armed Forces of the Philippines is seriously investigating

00:24the discovery of the submersible drones in Masbate

00:27that were recovered by fishermen.

00:29It is under the forensic analysis of the Philippine Navy

00:33that has been going on for almost two months

00:35as part of the investigation of its discovery.

00:38In the initial observation, the yellow-colored drone

00:42and the red and yellow-colored one

00:44are possible to be used in scientific research and fish tracking.

00:48It is 3.5 meters long, 24 centimeters wide,

00:53and weighs more than 70 kilos.

00:55All angles will be thoroughly examined by the Navy

00:59as part of the military component.

01:01The analysis will examine the object's physical structure,

01:04electronic components, power source, and any possible stored data.

01:10Equipment such as these are used for gathering bathymetric data

01:15such as water temperature, the depth of water, and salinity.

01:21As mentioned, the AFP is on top of the situation

01:25and taking this seriously.

01:28A lot of speculation has been going on.

01:31But let me state that speculation is no substitute for evidence.

01:37This is not the first time that a drone has been recovered in our ocean.

01:41Last August, a sea drone was found in the northern part of the country.

01:46While last September, there were pieces of another drone.

01:52The Navy said they do not neglect such devices

01:57that are being discovered in our country and in protecting our territory.

02:02Just because no reports come out,

02:03does it mean your AFP is timid or not doing anything?

02:08We're trying to look at the video picture and correlate their numbers.

02:12Meanwhile, the palace is in charge

02:15of maintaining the China Coast Guard's demonstership

02:19in the Philippines' Exclusive Economic Zone.
