00:00I mean it sounds Vince from what you're saying like you're acting very much on your own initiative.
00:04Aren't you getting directive or instructions or information cascading down from the authorities
00:10there in California? Yes no we are getting a directive but what's happening is the the wind
00:15shifts the Santa Ana winds have been so strong and turbulent and unpredictable that they'll just
00:21shift without a moment's notice and one of the things that's happened is they've reported that
00:26embers from a wildfire have traveled over two miles and then just settled somewhere on the
00:31ground and started a wildfire over there and so because of that unpredictability it felt like
00:36things were just kind of closing in on the San Fernando Valley and because there's over nine
00:41million people in L.A. County I was concerned that if and when it's my time to go I didn't
00:45want to wait until they said go because of all the traffic and gridlock because you got to imagine
00:49also traffic lights are out power is out so beyond these fires in L.A. County there's a lot of
00:55instability in terms of electricity on the grid.
