00:00The cabinet of the Modi government on the first day of 2025, that is, on 1 January, took a very big decision in the interest of the farmers.

00:14It approved a free package of Rs. 3850 crores for DAP fertilizer.

00:19From this package, farmers will get 50 kgs of DAP fertilizer for Rs. 1350.

00:25In addition, the allotment for the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yojana was increased to Rs. 69,515 crores.

00:32This will benefit about 4 crore farmers.

00:35And this is the reason why, with the positive signals of the central government, the expectations of the farmers are increasing from this budget.

00:41In the coming budget on 1 February, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman can make some announcements in the budget to encourage farmers, especially those who do organic farming.

00:52Because the government has set a goal under the Agriculture Export Policy, in which it has been said to deliver agri-export to $100 billion by 2022.

01:02Until the financial year 2025, only $50 billion remained, which the government can make some new plans in the upcoming budget to increase.

01:11The most important thing for organic farming is fertilizers.

01:16And the prices of fertilizers are increasing and there is also a discussion on whether new incentives can be given to fill the initial losses in natural and organic farming.

01:27India's spices, basmati rice, chilies, tea and sesame seeds have been increased in exports.

01:33But in basmati rice, thymethoxam pesticides and tricyclozole, in chili powder and onions, in salmonella and fertilizers, turmeric is getting bad colored spices.

01:44Due to the absence of presence in international standards, WTO has been recommended to decide the default MRL.

01:51And India's goal in the financial year 2026 is to double the export of its organic products to $1 billion and to gain more share in global organic exports.

02:03Its estimated annual income is $147 billion.

02:08The government can make some new plans in the upcoming budget to increase exports of organic farming.
