The TikTok comedian who is always fully committed to the bit may have committed a bit too hard this time. Will we be seeing Hentschel making videos from jail this year?

00:00You've probably been seeing this bald man everywhere, in your dreams, and in your feeds.
00:07I'm of course referring to Dan Henschel, a comedian on social media who creates these
00:11bizarre characters, costumes, and videos which have been reaching peak virality this past
00:15year or two.
00:16A lot of times these videos will be extreme parody or sometimes even bait to get you to
00:19engage with them, and Henschel has mastered this art, as I'll see videos like I Hate Being
00:23a Therapist, which is 100% real, Henschel is definitely a licensed therapist in every
00:27US state.
00:28This most recent escapade involves an actual police investigation, it seems Henschel is
00:32willing to take the bit even further as a new parody character he did in late December
00:35of 2024 sparked some controversy.
00:37This character is a school shooter who never actually did the shooting, but is reminiscing
00:41on that moment of his life, almost wishing he actually did it.
00:44This tweet from December 23rd reads,
00:46My high school bleachers are empty tonight, but the night I brought an AK-47 to the homecoming
00:50game, they weren't.
00:51Thankfully, I never took it out of my car.
00:53But every Christmas, where my wife and children are asleep, I come back and imagine the world
00:57where I did.
00:58Then on January 3rd of 2025, Henschel would take this joke a step further by creating
01:02a video, which I saw on Instagram but was posted elsewhere, where Henschel talks about
01:05the same story, this time using leetspeak to perhaps avoid some of the words that would
01:09get you on 19 FBI and CIA internal lists.
01:12This video would go viral instantly, gaining millions and millions of views, leading to
01:15an actual investigation by the Bel Air Police Department, addressing the video Henschel
01:19made directly.
01:20My favorite part of this Facebook post is the reactions, the main and most popular one
01:23being a big smiley grin.
01:25Henschel hilariously would immediately respond with, hey y'all I need a lawyer, so we'll
01:28see where this event takes us.
