00:21call from the plantation owner was received at 3.11 pm, prompting a six-member team led
00:28by Jasmani Osni and hazardous materials consultant Mohamed Hanis Mokhtar to be dispatched to
00:34the site, located 45 kilometres away.
00:37By the time the team arrived, all victims had already been transported to Kinabatangan
00:42Hospital by co-workers for treatment.
00:45Firefighters, equipped with protective gear, secured the area by setting up barricades
00:51and conducted a decontamination process to mitigate further risks.
00:55The situation was brought under control at 5.30 pm and the operation ended at 6.40 pm
01:02after the area was declared safe.
01:05Nurul Azlan reminded plantation owners to ensure workers use proper protective gear
01:10when handling pesticides to prevent similar incidents.
