00:00In the midst of the ongoing surveillance against the illegal presence inside our Exclusive Economic Zone,
00:06the Philippine Coast Guard's ship, BRP Teresa Magbanua,
00:11was able to intercept one of China's ships on the coastline of Zambales.
00:15And despite the bad weather, the PCG still did not stop its surveillance.
00:21This is Patrick De Jesus for Dronang Balita.
00:24Back to the Exclusive Economic Zone or EEZ of the Philippines,
00:31the China Coast Guard's monster ship was spotted by the Philippine Coast Guard on Saturday.
00:37Their ship, BRP Teresa Magbanua, was also closely watched.
00:42Last week, the country's first detected CCG 5901,
00:47which was approaching 54 nautical miles from Zambales, was detected.
00:51It was also replaced by two of the next ships of the China Coast Guard.
00:55During the patrol yesterday by the PCG,
00:58the China's monster ship was detected at 95 nautical miles from the coastline of Zambales.
01:04And despite the bad condition of the sea, which is 3 to 5 meters deep,
01:10BRP Teresa Magbanua did not neglect it.
01:14You do not possess any legal authority to patrol within the Philippines Exclusive Economic Zone.
01:20You are directed to depart immediately and notify us of your intentions. Over.
01:25In the PCG's investigation, through satellite imagery and grid coordinates,
01:31it was observed that the presence of Chinese ships is up to the end of the 10-dash line
01:38that they use to navigate the entire South China Sea, including the West Philippine Sea.
01:44Therefore, the PCG gave the importance of their close surveillance
01:49to show the illegal presence of Chinese ships in the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone.
01:56Patrick De Azuz for Pabansang TV in Bagong, Philippines.
